This is a 1952 Chevrolet 1/2 ton pickup standard cab with a 350ci v8 engine and a 350 turbo 3 speed automatic transmission.
It is a very clean and straight truck on top and underneath and has GREAT bones if someone wanted to make a very nice showtruck, but as it stands it is a very nice patina'd driver. We bought this truck locally from an older gentleman who claimed to be the second owner (the title is an old Missouri title that was issued in 1969!!). The only repairs that he knew of on the truck were the cab corners many years prior had been repaired and they have held up very well.
Mechanically this is an awesome truck. It starts with the 1st hit of the key every time, its really impressive for a carbureted engine. It is very original and pretty much unmolested other than an added mirror and sunvisor, and it does still have the original straight axle. The body and frame are very nice, and whether left completely alone or completely restored with new paint, wheels and tires, and modern front end this truck is sure to please (we have really enjoyed our time with it).
